This is a high-visibility role, working hand-in-hand with our customer to support mission management, process development, risk.ResponsibilitiesYou will participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.You will assist our customer in- Evaluating configurations of commercial products used in layered solutions to protect classified data.
- Identify points of vulnerability and recommend mitigation strategies
- Validate and verify system security requirements
- Analyze system security designs
- Design, develop, and implement security systems and components, including components for networking, computing, and support environments
- Assists in system planning, development, and deployment to ensure compliance with security standards and requirements
- Provide technical guidance in Information Assurance concepts, principles, and standards including definition and use of IA-related metadata and threat and risk analysis
- Analyze commercial solutions to ensure that the defined capabilities continue to provide the security services and robustness required to account for technology development, new security issues, and new use cases.
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) version 2.02 modeling and DoDAF system engineering analysis or development
- Cryptographic development and analysis
- IA and cybersecurity architectures, concepts, principles, use cases, and standards
- DoD, IC, and other federal government (e.g., NIST) policy, directives, and instructions relevant to IA and cybersecurity strategic planning and direction
- Knowledge of NIST, NIAP, Common Criteria
- Knowledge of networking terms/applications, cryptography
- Product assessment experience
- Comfortable with giving presentations and talking to Customers
- CISSP Certification
