job detailsjob summary:Our client is a growing company looking for an efficient systems engineer to help them expand their computing infrastructure. The systems engineer's responsibilities include working with a team of IT specialists to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture.To be successful in this position, the systems engineer should be a highly motivated, results-driven individual who can create the perfect solution for the organization's higher-level needs. The best candidate will also be an excellent listener and communicator, with the ability to explain why their solutions are the best fit.location: Cockeysville, Marylandjob type: Permanentsalary: $70,000 - 100,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:? Infrastructure Design and Implementation:o Collaborate with clients to understand their IT infrastructure requirements.o Design and implement customized IT solutions tailored to meet client needs.o Deploy and configure servers, storage, virtualization, cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, M365), andnetworking equipment.? Systems Maintenance and Support:o Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot clients' IT systems to ensure optimal performance.o Provide remote and on-site support for escalated network, hardware, and software issues.o Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.o Take ownership of issues until resolution.? Collaboration and Communication:o Work closely with other team members, including IT technicians and service desk personnel.o Develop best practice/standards for our client's various IT systems and communicate this amongst teams.o Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.? Continuing Educationo Committed to continuous education and self-improvement in the technical areas related to our clients.qualifications:
