General Job Description: Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Specific Job Description: Collaborates with business analytics and developers to gain an understanding of functional and technical requirements. Develops, executes, and statuses on the test approach and the associated test cases. Analyzes results and collaborates with others to resolve issues. Conducts Peer Reviews and test walkthrough sessions with testing and technical team members. Leverages Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to manage workloads. Supports the development, documentation, and maintenance of test standards and templates. Supports the development and maintenance of project schedules. Mentors junior resources. Responsible for supporting planning activities and supporting the on schedule delivery of milestone and deliverables. Must have ability to independently conduct Informatica ETL Testing in a Data Warehouse environment. Candidate must be willing to work on-call rotation approximately once every eight weeks to provide production operations troubleshooting support, as needed.Must possess effective oral and written skills and strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. Must be a team player, able to work in a dynamic environment and have a working knowledge of the SDLC and the associated processes and documentation. Must be a U.S citizen or holderMust be local Onsite work unless local COVID restrictions dictate telecommuting is required. Specific Experience: Must possess 6 years of Informatica testing experience. 6 years of MicroStrategy testing experience is preferred. Candidate must have strong working knowledge of SQL commands with ability to write complex SQL queries. Knowledge of Redshift database and AWS Glue testing experience preferred. Must have experience testing WebSphere Portal applications. General Experience: 9-13 years related experienceEducation: Bachelor of Science in related field or equivalent years of experience
