-The Cybersecurity Engineer is a specialized field of system engineering that integrates cybersecurity requirements, engineering principles, and system design standards to ensure the architecture for communications platforms, and information remains secure.

-Utilize your systems engineering expertise review and assess of a wide range of complex weapon systems to identify technical risks within the system's cybersecurity posture.

-Work with the system owner to develop and recommend appropriate mitigations to manage cybersecurity risks. -Responsible for reviewing and assessing cybersecurity architectures across a variety of applications or domains for systems with large size, complexity, and risk. -Experience with Cybersecurity best practices and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks-Experience providing system security engineering guidance for customers-Familiar with system authorization process and necessary security artifacts-TS/SCI w/ CI Poly (FS Preferred)-5 years experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer and BS in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline- OR 3 years experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer and MS in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline- OR 1 year as a Cybersecurity Engineer on programs of similar scope/size with a PhD or JD degree-Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required-CompTIA Security + (required) OR One of more of the following within 6 months of start on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, CISSP (Higher level cert can substitute for security +)
