- Continue design and front-end development on new and existing templates
- Create interactive prototypes using Figma
- Apply Bootstrap 3 styles to new and existing templates
- Optimize existing markup for speed and scalability
- Develop and re-design website pages at the direction of Management
- Translate user stories and requirements into functional applications
- Utilize established programming languages, development tools, and conventions including VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Studio, and SQL Server
- Ensure all code is unit tested and compliant with functional and other requirements, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to remediate findings
- Help maintain code quality and organization
- A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field preferred in Computer Science or other related discipline
- Expert knowledge and experience writing HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiar with the human-centered design process
- Intermediate knowledge, experience, and ability with jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX
- Able to work in a team environment and collaborate well with others
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to articulate complex ideas to non-technical staff
- A self-starter with strong self-management skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Able to consistently meet project deadlines
- Basic understanding of ASP.NET Web Forms
- Basic understanding of GIT source code repositories
