We are seeking highly motivated User Experience (UX) Designers to join our team and leverage their technical expertise to support the strategy and design for next generation analysis tools for the Intelligence Community. As the UX Designer, you will work at the forefront of product development in an organization that is focused on promoting consistent processes and practices across the Agency in the areas of user experience engineering, systems engineering, operational engineering and support, and customer outreach. Your responsibilities will include the following:- Blending both technical expertise and mission knowledge in providing design support for a breadth of analytic and engagement tools
- Designing user experiences for new and existing web, and other framework-based applications from concept to completion
- Designing workflows and experiences that are intuitive, effective, and accessible
- Applying human factors and cognition principles to the design of tools, systems, tasks, economics, user interfaces, and environments
- Collecting and analyzing user behaviors and needs through various types of user research (e.g., field studies, surveys, lab studies, etc.)
- Conveying research findings and/or design approach by communicating to diverse audiences in both verbal and written formats
- Generating design systems, building on existing structures, and designing new approaches
- Designing both a short term and long term UX vision for products
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following design areas:
- User centered
- Software user interface
- Graphic and/or visual interaction
- Web development
- Information architecture
- Ability to think critically through complicated challenges to formulate solutions, and collaborate with developers and analysts to implement approved designs
- Any of the following Certifications:
- Adobe Certified Associate
- Adobe Certified Expert
- Certified Internet Web (CIW) Associate
