The Wastewater System Superintendent manages the daily operations, maintenance, and personnel of the wastewater treatment plant and collection systems at CMI’s customer site in Beltsville, MD.Key Job FunctionsDirects the daily operations of the treatment plant, pumping stations, and sewer lines.Reviews treatment processes and makes adjustments to maximize efficiency.Ensures plant effluent meets Federal (EPA) and State Departments of Environmental Quality standards (e.g., NPDES permits).Prepares and submits discharge monitoring reports.Supervises, trains, and evaluates plant operators and maintenance technicians.Coordinates work schedules and handles hiring or disciplinary actions.Works with key stakeholders and contractors to plan, review, and manage plant upgrades or infrastructure constructionPerform other management related duties as required
