Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk. If you are able to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, you are a good fit for this position. If you are a self-starter with high attention to detail, you are likely to be successful at handling 200+ invoices a week at this Accounts Receivable Clerk position. This is a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Woburn, Massachusetts area.What you get to do every day
Promote, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP
Verify codes and documents
Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment
Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in different ledgers
Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
Execute a range of foundational accounting tasks in agreement with normal procedures, including general accounting tasks Requirements - Skilled with ERP systems
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Foundational knowledge in Legal Documentation
Earlier work involving Engineering
Deep understanding of operations
Receipt experience highly valued
Prioritization experience required
Background working with auditing
Solid understanding of customer service
Practical knowledge of About Time
Good understanding of Communication Skills
Documentation experience required
Previous experience working with Purchase Orders
Workstation Support experience highly preferred
Deep understanding of Quality Control
Adeptness in Review
Comprehension of Coding
Experience with compliance

2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
