Description We are in search of a meticulous and tech-savvy Accounting Analyst to be a part of our dynamic team in the banking industry. This role is located in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts and offers a hybrid work model. The primary function of this position is to handle expense reports, guide new hires on system usage, and answer employee inquiries related to expense reports. Responsibilities: Accurately process expense reports using Concur and gather the necessary backup documentation for processing Effectively communicate requirements to employees and assist them with their inquiries regarding expense reports Ensure new hires have access to Concur and provide them with guidance on how to enter reports and use the system Proficiently handle accounting functions using various software such as Oracle, Excel, and Acomba Regularly monitor and update Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage and process check payments using accounting software systems Utilize your skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and IBM AS/400 to maintain efficient operations Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software systems related to accounting Consistently maintain the highest level of accuracy in all accounting tasks. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Acomba Knowledge of CL Programming and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Familiarity with IBM AS/400 and About Time software Ability to perform various accounting functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in check processing Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must adhere to all ethical standards set forth by the industry Must be willing to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
