Accounting Assistant

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Avon, Massachusetts. This role is critical in the financial sector, providing support to our New Development team. You'll have the chance to work in a hybrid setting, balancing tasks between payment processing, project coordination, and CRM implementation preparation. Responsibilities: Processing payments and ensuring they flow through the payment system correctly Tracking data of payments in process Monitoring dates and milestones of various projects Collecting and organizing documents related to projects Preparing files for CRM implementation Utilizing accounting software systems to perform accounting functions Handling tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) Gaining experience in using Acumatica and Procore software tools. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for efficient management of financial data. Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions. Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required to manage outgoing payments to suppliers and vendors. Familiarity with Acumatica software is preferable for streamlined financial management. Knowledge of Procore construction management software is an added advantage for industry-specific accounting practices.
