Accounting Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Amesbury, Massachusetts. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be expected to handle various accounting functions in an efficient manner. The role is within the financial services industry, and you will be utilizing various accounting software systems and ERP to perform your duties effectively.Responsibilities: Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications. Maintaining precise customer credit records. Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Conducting auditing tasks as required. Managing billing functions efficiently. Utilizing ADP, Ceridian, Concur, and other relevant software for financial services. Leveraging your knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for optimal results. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory for the role. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required. Familiarity with Ceridian software is a plus. Knowledge of Concur software is necessary. A good understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential. Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is expected. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Prior experience in Auditing is a significant advantage. Competency in Billing Functions is crucial for this role.
