Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Accounts Receivable Clerk in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be intricately involved in the accounts receivable process of our organization, managing customer accounts, applying payments, and conducting credit checks. You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with our client companies and aid in the resolution of credit and collection issues.Responsibilities: Collect outstanding balances from our clients with precision and professionalism Process monthly invoicing to customers in a timely and accurate manner Handle VAT reporting duties, ensuring compliance and accuracy Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies that may arise Foster strong relationships with client companies to facilitate the collection of outstanding balances Monitor Accounts Receivable to identify past due accounts and prepare analyses Research discrepancies and remove obstacles to collecting past due balances Manage the posting of accounts receivable cash and processing of credit card transactions Prepare monthly A/R reports and present results to relevant parties Collect and manage an accounts receivable portfolio as assigned by management Liaise with various departments to resolve credit and collection issues. Requirements Must possess skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Proficiency in handling Aged Receivables is required Knowledge and understanding of the General Ledger is essential Ability to create and manipulate Excel Formulas is necessary Proficient in Microsoft Excel software Experience with Microsoft Excel is a must Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk role is beneficial Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters Understanding of basic accounting principles is required.
