Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in Ashland, Massachusetts. The individual will play a critical role in evaluating and improving our current invoicing processes, clearing invoice backlogs, and implementing necessary changes. This is a long-term contract role and is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills who are comfortable working in high-volume businesses. Responsibilities: Review and analyze current invoicing processes for opportunities of improvement Clear backlog of invoices in a timely and efficient manner Develop and implement recommendations for process improvements Train personnel on new processes and procedures Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary Handle customer inquiries and resolve them promptly and professionally Use analytical skills to solve problems related to accounts receivable Perform other accounting functions as needed.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar Proven expertise in Accounting Functions Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions Experience in managing Cash Activity and Check Processing Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
