Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Southborough, Massachusetts. This position is within a growing company in the Worcester area. The role primarily involves handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when required Handle reconciliations and journal entries in a timely manner Provide month-end support to teams as required Participate in special projects as directed by management Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP for daily tasks Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing functions Oversee check processing and cash activity. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services CRM knowledge and usage skills Familiarity with Epic Software ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning competence Understanding and execution of Accounting Functions Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing Functions Ability to handle Cash Activity Experience in Check Processing Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and within a team Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
