The Application Support Analyst shall be responsible for:
  • Providing tier one and tier two support to users of the Cerner EHR and suite of departmental solutions under CHAMPS purview
  • Developing deep application expertise within defined subject areas. We will work to match the candidate’s background to open opportunities, but will also look for candidates to be open to developing new areas of expertise.
  • Working collaboratively with team members and the clinical community to match department’s needs to the capabilities of our software.
  • Engaging in issue resolution: This entails working with team members to identify a resolution, as well as working with vendors to diagnose issues and correct them.
  • Clearly articulating and presenting solutions to colleagues and customers in the user community.

In order to qualify you must have:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to manage relationships with a wide range of customers.
  • A health care or IT background
  • 3-7 years of experience in a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with SQL, CCL and/or Unix is a plus
