Corus is Looking for Architect, Application Development IIArchitect, Application Development IIDescription: Introduction/context:This is a new hire for an Architect/lead engineer position to support a program focusing in driving messaging across all customer touch points for relevant service and sales communications, provide personalized insights and advice to customers to enable better financial health and increase trust with the bank. The candidate will be reporting directly to the Sr. Director responsible for the Personalization value stream which encompasses a cross-functional dedicated team from data/analytics, marketing, digital and technology to develop and implement personalized communications and offers through the personalization platform(s) into email, MOB and ROB channels. Key responsibilities:• Define, design and drive the implementation of the Architectural framework for the Personalization value stream• Create and manage the Architectural framework plan (milestones and deliverables) and ensure alignment with the overall program plan• Collaborate with the relevant Tech supporting teams (e.g. Digital channels, Information Security, infrastructure engineering, APIs and data development teams) to validate the solution and drive the execution of the corresponding deliverables within the defined timelines• Create a bridge between the Core team and the Tech supporting teams to drive the set-up of the solution Architecture• Help the Tech lead and the Product owner to understand complexity at the technical level and to prioritize tasks• Ensure that the business and IT are in alignment by linking the business strategy, and processes to IT strategy, and documents this using architectural models or views that show how the company's current and future IT needs will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner• Develops a roadmap for the evolution of the Personalization architecture solution from current to future state (as defined in partnership with IT/Business leadership) whilst ensuring that the solution is effective and scalable• Understands technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models Qualifications and work experience• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Management, Management Information systems, Computer Engineering, System Analysis or an equivalent field (Req.)• Over 10 years-experience in Architecture or Lead engineer roles in Finance (Req.)• Work experience with Personalization / Customer Insights / application development solution-architectures (Req.)• Experience in solutioning and designing Architectural diagrams based on Business requirements (Req.) Skills• Knowledge of key architectural integration components such as channels/application development, APIs, security, on-premise infrastructure or Cloud, data development, data visualization etc.• Demonstrated experience of defining architecture and data management strategies to support the business' strategy• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and information security practices• Familiarity with Master Data Management and Data Governance best practices• Demonstrated applied knowledge of enterprise application delivery mechanisms and requirements• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies• Ability to adjust to new developments/changing circumstances• Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with multiple levels of the organizational structure, including senior level management• Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues/projects to closure• Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands and competing priorities• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Excellent time management, prioritization, communication, troubleshooting, and problem- solving skills
