Assistant Controller

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Lakeville-Middleborough, Massachusetts, in the telecom industry. This role requires a strong technical understanding of GAAP guidelines and the ability to work independently. Furthermore, proficiency in various accounting software systems and ERP solutions is necessary.Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an understanding of GAAP guidelines and white papers Write technical memos and provide thought leadership within the team Work independently on various tasks and projects Use accounting software systems to perform tasks efficiently Implement and manage ADP - Financial Services within the company Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions to optimize business processes Work with Great Plains (GPAC) for accounting purposes Handle different accounting functions within the company Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Conduct regular auditing and manage the budget processes.
