Assistant Director of Eng & Ops - Utility

Location: Reading, MA Salary: 125000-135000 Description: Our client is currently seeking a Assistant Director of Eng & Ops - Utility

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university with specialization in power systems. Master's Degree preferred.
• 10 years of demonstrated experience in a position managing utility engineering and operations personnel. 10 years of proven electrical distribution planning and design, distribution automation experience, grid modernization, project management, and protection and coordination.
• Demonstrated proficiency, knowledge and experience in Asset Management, planning, design, Grid Optimization, AMI, distribution automation and technology integration.
• Understanding of Demand Response and Demand Side Management (DSM) programs.
• Knowledge in protection & coordination of OH & UG distribution protective devices.
• Knowledge in substation design and maintenance.
• Knowledge in NEC, NESC, OSHA and related distribution construction standards.
• Overall knowledge of utility operations including fleet and facilities.
• Knowledge of GIS and applicable software packages.
• Well-developed computer skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Project Management software and familiarity with various distribution analysis software applications.
