The Team: You will be leading the Security Automation team which is responsible for automating security solutions to protect S&P Global data & IT systems. You will be responsible to develop a roadmap to automate security tools & processes.The Impact: As a Security Automation lead you would work with a team of talented security engineers & work on a strategy & mechanisms to detect and respond to threats faster, reduce manual labor costs, and improve overall security posture.What’s in it for you:

Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of Security Automation Engineers developing and supporting our SOAR platform, including related work in our SIEM.

Develop and build systems capable of monitoring security controls, policies and procedures and critical cyber security activities.

Build a roadmap & a strategy for Security automation & engineering.

Manage an inventory of SOAR integrations that enable broader playbook creation.

Work collaboratively with Cyber Defense leadership to identify strategic security automation initiatives, and create response and detection processes, and playbooks.

What We’re Looking For:

Expert level in scripting language (Python, Bash, Powershell) & Git.

Azure cloud Native security service deployment, Log source integration, KQL queries and SIEM use case development

Strong background in application and API architecture and development CICD (Jenkins, Docker, etc ) & DevSecOps

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure). Experience with Terraform a plus.

Modern networking knowledge and understanding (OSI, TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalling, NAT, proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF's, CDN's, SSL/TLS, etc)

Expertise with SOAR platforms, SIEM and Endpoint security tools.

Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate and interact effectively with users that do not have a security background and be a security spokesperson throughout the organization.

Experience working in a diverse global team.

Basic Qualifications: (define basic qualifications)

Bachelors or master’s in computers, IT or equivalent experience.

Min 5+ years proven experience in Security automation & scripting.

Preferred Qualifications:This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.Grade/Level ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 12.Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125k to $175k. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
