DESCRIPTION:Duties: Produce accurate and timely Net Asset Values including analyzing the impacted components of the net asset value on any given day and validating those impacts are accurate. Utilize knowledge of financial analytical tools that contain the necessary market industry information to support exceptions. Produce validations in a timely manner to facilitate sending out Net Asset Value information to third party recipients by the designated service delivery deadlines. Produce ad hoc reports for the client which encompass various analytics the client requires to benchmark and ensure the Net Asset values delivered are accurate and reflect the intended performance as mandated by the mutual fund's strategy. Respond to client inquiries regarding information contained in the reporting. Perform quality assurance checks on information received internally from other supporting functions. Understand the roles of the supporting functions and how they contribute to the production of the Net Asset Values on a daily basis. Create, maintain, and update procedures for the funds for new products and instruments that the fund invests in, as well as updates in the market from a regulatory perspective and updating processes and procedures accordingly. Ensure compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the standard operating procedures and demonstrate to both internal and external auditors that our core controls and procedures meet the requirements that warrant an acceptable rating. Work closely with the new business team and clients through the onboarding process. Develop understanding of new client's fund structures and knowledge of both existing and new products and how to incorporate into the JPMorgan fund services model.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.Minimum experience required: 2 years of experience in mutual fund accounting, or related experience.Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of all components of the net asset value of mutual fund. Experience working on various vendor applications to research market events impacting mutual funds. Demonstrated knowledge of mutual fund characteristics of European based mutual funds and specific hedging requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting systems for researching and processing information for mutual funds. Experience assessing impacts of various types of activity, including trade processing on mutual funds to assess risk in missed or late processing.
