Azure Architect with Subject Matter Expert(SME)

Hi, Greetings from Kairos Technologies Inc, Role: Azure Subject Matter Expert Location: 100 % Remote Duration: 12+ months Client: Mass Mutual They are building Azure from scratch. They are currently mature with AWS. But they want to become a multi cloud environment. They need someone that has built an Azure environment from scratch. They want to map some of the applications from AWS to Azure. As well as host some applications that can't be in AWS. They are looking for a Sr Level Azure SME. Someone that can give them a strategy/roadmap. Can provide them with whatever steps are necessary and provide the different activities that they need to perform for each step. This person should have a minimum of 3-5 years of Azure experience. Duties: We are actively seeking a highly skilled Azure SME who will be leading the strategic roadmap, design and deployment of the Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Expert in developing high-level system specifications and SOW statements for the implementation of Azure Cloud. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Responsibilities: aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Plan and lead the Azure cloud implementation at enterprise-scale including providing strategic direction, roadmap and standards aria-hidden="true" Define and develop high-level system specifications and SOW statements from the roadmap aria-hidden="true" Act as a 'Subject Matter Expert' to the organization for cloud, automation, and end-to-end architecture for IaaS, PaaS & SaaS solutions aria-hidden="true" Define and enforce Azure Well Architected framework: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization aria-hidden="true" Work closely with client product/development teams to develop and promote cloud-native application architectures (microservices, serverless, containers), and application development and operations practices aria-hidden="true" Build and Design Microsoft Azure architectures that meet the technical, security, and business requirements aria-hidden="true" Ensure developed systems comply with the enterprise technical architecture aria-hidden="true" Facilitate / lead discussions to understand business / technical requirements that result in decision making and drive decisions / alignment around deliverables. aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" Skills: Skills and Qualification aria-hidden="true" aria-hidden="true" 15+ years of IT experience, including 7+ years in cloud implementation and architecture aria-hidden="true" 5+ years of Azure cloud-native software engineering experience aria-hidden="true" Certified on Microsoft Azure Cloud aria-hidden="true" Practitioner experience with containerization (docker & kubernetes), cloud technologies, tools (Jenkins, Artifactory)and practices (CI/CD patterns, TDD, automated provisioning & release, GitOps, IaC) aria-hidden="true" Technical leadership experience on a highly agile team delivering business value incrementally.
