Azure SME/Cloud Engineer

M9 Solutions is seeking an

• Responsible for the architecture design/planning, management, support, and oversight of the Cloud One Azure environment.
• Support the Cloud One Common Computing Environment program.
• Incorporate the capabilities of commercial cloud and managed service providers residing in Cloud Service providers.
• Facilitate efforts to migrate applications to a Cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to allow increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of IT operations.
• Design, sustain, maintain, Azure environments and topologies.
• Migrate and deploy various customer workloads to Azure.
• Deploy hybrid Azure AD environments.
• Monitor Azure security solution implementation, including automated responses.
• Utilize tools and automation (e.g., scripting - Terraform, ARM templates, TFS/DevOps).
• Configure and troubleshoot Cloud, virtual, physical hardware, and software systems.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational tooling and process inefficiencies.
• Project, design, process, and support documentation.
• Update knowledge base and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain regular and prompt contact with customers during support and projects.
• Provide technical assistance and training to users.

• Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
• An active Secret clearance is required.
• Security+ certification or equivalent certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 7+ years of experience or additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of experience in an Azure environment development and/or engineering.
• In-depth understanding of, and experience with, deployments of various systems to Azure.
• Experience with some or all of the following: Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, storage, Azure AD, etc.
• Knowledge of and experience working with DevSecOps tool chains.
• Experience preparing technical documentation.
• Experience working in a team environment with the ability to mentor junior team members.

• An AWS solutions architect professional certification.
• SAFe DevOps certification.
• Experience supporting software migration efforts.
• Experience in an MSP or other IT company.

• Salary Range: $60,000/year - $180,000/year
• M9 Solutions' pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
