Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst. This person will serve as a liaison between the IT development staff and the end user community. This role is responsible for assisting in all phases of the system life cycle, including creating detailed business requirements from end user requests through updating functional specifications for the development staff. In this role, the analyst assures quality through comprehensive documentation, support and testing. Initially a 6 month contract, we do expect this to go an addition 6 months. Rate 50/W2 or 60/C2C. Ideally they would like someone to come on site 1-2 days a week. Successful candidates will work individually and as part of a team, must be detail oriented and work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a cooperative, professional attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills.Position Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Experience designing, developing and implementing solutions to meet business requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience as a business analyst or quality assurance engineer
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing
• Excellent cognitive and recall ability as well as analytical skills are required
• Basic level IT skill and familiarity with MS Office Suite is required; experience with imaging systems (OnBase) is preferred
• Insurance Industry experience is preferred
