In addition, employees are also entitled to participate in an employer sponsored 401(k) plan, to save for retirement.  Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.  POSITION PURPOSEThe Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing long-term, integrated, energy services contracts and will lead the pursuit of new business opportunities by establishing strong relationships with existing and potential clients.PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify potential customers and develop relationships with key decision makers in the client organization in order to assess opportunities with the companyAct as primary focal point with the clientManage and participate in proposal preparation, pricing and presentations to customersFormulate and write technical proposals reflecting the strategic approach towards developing a new projectLead negotiations with clients, including preparation of contracts and possible structuring of financing solutionsManage internal development activities including technical audits by Veolia development engineersServe as a close liaison with other members in the Veolia team (operations, finance, legal, insurance, risk management, etc.) throughout the entire sales processAssess competitor strengths, weaknesses and strategic direction
