Job DescriptionThe company is currently in the process of modernizing their Clinical Engineering environment. This includes the purchase and implementation of integrated and non-integrated Clinical Engineering equipment. Integration of new equipment will be to the Epic EMR. The CE Program Manager oversees the modernization program that consists of roughly 45 active projects with an annual spend of roughly $30m in Capital. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management with clinical engineering initiatives. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with the modernization of clinical engineering equipment projects. The candidate will manage Project manager resources, collaborating with CE staff, as well as Epic Application and Infrastructure teams to build out the program plan, defining dependencies, as well as resource plans to ensure staffing is adequate for the planned work for the fiscal year.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the project sponsors and cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and budget.
  • Define and establish guiding operating principles for workstream to adhere to.
  • Developing a resourcing plan to ensure success for each workstream
  • Manage a project team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • dentify Risks and appropriate mitigation plans
  • Oversee vendor selection and management activities.
  • Address and escalate issues when needed.
  • Ensure robust and timely communications of general project status, risk mitigation plans, critical issue action items and decisions needed and/or made.
  • Manage budget.
  • Oversee one to many projects and a full complement of technical and subject area experts.
  • Oversee and report on the activities of all project tracks
  • Ensure activities are aligned to program goals and priorities.

Qualifications:
  • Qualifications include 5-10 year of project management in a hospital environment, with at least 2 years of managing clinical engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with biomedical and clinical engineering equipment is required, while integration with Epic is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in health sciences or related field.
  • Experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience with biomedical devices.
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • 7-12-years experience leading large enterprise-wide projects
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing a large team or teams.
