Provides support for specific functions of the Clinical Mobility team to meet the needs of the supported operation's end-users in the clinical communication, collaboration, and mobility (CCC&M) platform stack, which comprise of desktop and mobile applications. Assists in the execution of the team's core applications, partners with senior members of the team to maintain a wide array of processes within the supported CCC&M platform stack, and participates in the build/configuration, testing and troubleshooting of these applications, phones and medical device integration points.

This Clinical Mobility Analyst I will be responsible for:
  • Serves as a resource with competent knowledge of team's core applications and supported operational processes. Work typically involves participation in the design, build/configuration, testing, implementation and maintenance of the team's core CCC&M applications and their integration with other supported systems/applications and medical devices, with close supervision of senior team members and /or the manager.
  • Applying a consultative approach, engages internal subject-matter experts in operations to understand current and anticipated operational needs. Assists in the execution of technology and operations analyses to identify root causes of common problems. Leverages knowledge of supported areas to implement effective solutions, escalating as necessary to senior management on more complex issues.
  • Assists in investigation and resolution of day-to-day tickets or requests that affect the applications related to CCC&M applications, phones, medical devices, bedside monitors, and middleware solution. Participates in analyzing requests to identify need for project-based work (i.e., enhancement, system modifications, new integrations).
  • Assists in configuration or customization of supported applications to address business or clinical needs. With close supervision from senior team members or managers, modifies builds incorporating simple edits (e.g. nursing unit level alarm routing), addition of functionality with established templates (eg.,new clinical shift schedule additions to CCC&M roles), and instantiation of workflows based on existing standards (e.g., new provider provisioning, new device configuration). Such changes characteristically impact a moderate number of users. Records decisions and applicable business rules and assists in preparing user documentation. Performs unit system testing, integrated testing and specialty application testing.
  • Assists in the implementation of supported core CCC&M application and middleware changes with third party vendors and/or internal proprietary applications to ensure integration. Supports maintenance, upgrades and tests of third-party integrations and desktop and phone communication and collaboration applications. Works closely with assigned project manager for small-sized projects spanning multiple applications and teams.
  • Assists in the review of release notes and in the maintenance and execution of unit and integrated test scripts with each upgrade.
  • Employs strong communication skills to explain common issues and influence others in reaching and implementing effective solutions.
  • Assists in providing online learning or in-person instruction. Regularly obtains feedback from users on workflows involved in supported applications.
  • Attends CCC&M and Epic related conferences, trainings at Epic for additional certifications, or internal BCH offerings as directed by the manager.
In order to qualify, you must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree and1 year of related work experience.
  • 1 year of experience directly involved in CCC&M application support performing builds in the targeted application(s) preferred.
  • Epic certifications in one core application preferred.
