CNA in Private Home

The Shared Living Collaborative is a unique human service agency providing an array of Therapeutic Supports to Adults with disabilities in the Merrimack Valley.

We are seeking a CNA for 20 hours per week in a Shared Living home in Beverly, MA (similar to Adult Foster Care) to work with two young adults who use wheelchairs. Flexible hours are available for afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Massachusetts CNA license in good standing required.

Duties:

· Provide direct care support to disabled Individuals with physical challenges residing in a private Shared Living Home (similar to an Adult Foster Home) at home and in the community

· Assist with transportation, wheelchair transport, personal care, shopping, medical appointments, recreational and therapeutic activities, ADLs, and respite.

· Follow and implement all safety guidelines, procedures, and assessment results to ensure that Individual’s health, personal, and safety needs are met at all times.

· Participate in all necessary training, obtain required certifications, and perform non- skilled nursing tasks (training provided), such as tube feedings, as needed.

· Be available to work afternoons, evenings, holidays, and/or weekends as agreed upon
