Description
  • Building custom software tools to assess the impact of new features on DNA read metrics
  • Leading research and development activities for developing signal processing pipelines tofy nanopore signal
  • Supporting new technology translation from bench protocol to a fully automated solution at scale with cloud-based software tools
  • Collaborating with hardware and software teams to implement new software tools to assess the end-to-end platform performance
  • Analyzing data, presenting findings, and making recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Continuously assessing current literature for innovation opportunities
  • Publish peer-reviewed articles and file patents on the team's achievements and ideas

Profile

About the Candidate they are looking for:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or Mathematics or Physics
  • Background in algorithm and data structures via course work or R&D
  • At least 1 year of software development experience and 1 year of CUDA experience
  • Experience in programming with Python and C/C, Linux environment and tools
  • Application domain experience in scientific computing, information retrieval, optimization, signal processing, or machine learning is a plus
  • Excellent mathematical, technical, and interpersonal communication skills
