Job Description: Are you a seasoned professional or a rising star in commercial real estate property accounting? We're seeking both a Senior and Junior Portfolio Manager to join our dedicated team. Leveraging cutting-edge real estate management software like AppFolio, you'll be instrumental in driving strategic planning, financial management, and the overall success of our properties.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounting for commercial properties, including overseeing accounts payable/receivable and maintaining the general ledger.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports.

Analyze financial statements, budget reports, and variances to support property management.

Monitor daily cash balances and ensure accuracy in tenant billing processes.

Collaborate with property managers to address tenant issues and lease administration.

Contribute to strategic plans for property performance and value optimization.

Foster collaboration to maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Assist with special projects and tasks assigned by management.

Apply property management accounting standards and procedures for reporting.

Provide various reports including A/P, A/R, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and trend analyses.

Qualifications:

For Senior Portfolio Manager: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of commercial real estate accounting experience, preferably in multi-tenant properties. Proficiency in real estate management software, especially AppFolio, is strongly preferred.

For Junior Portfolio Manager: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with real estate management software is advantageous.

Both roles require a strong grasp of GAAP principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
