Compassionate Caregiver & Family Driver (2 Positions – Split Schedule)

We are hiring two reliable and empathetic caregivers to support a wonderful 75-year-old woman with dementia and to assist with school and camp transportation for two children (ages 9 and 5). She is physically independent and intellectually engaged—she completes the New York Times crossword daily—she benefits from emotional support, gentle structure, and companionship.

Responsibilities:

Provide warm companionship and cognitive support (reading, puzzles, conversation)

Drive our mother and children to/from school, camp, and appointments (vehicle provided or mileage reimbursed)

Assist with light tasks like laundry, organizing, and snacks

Maintain a calm, supportive routine with reminders and positive encouragement

Coordinate with the other caregiver for smooth shift transitions

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Experience with dementia or memory care preferred

Comfortable with children and multi-generational homes

Dependable, communicative, and kind

Fluent English speaker; non-smoker; background check and references required
