This position will be hybrid, where you be expected to be onsite on average 50% of the time from Tucson, AZ, Tewksbury, MA, or McKinney, TX. Relocation support is available. Note that occasional travel is required (roughly two times annually) as necessary dependent on proximity to ECC points of presence. You will report to the RMD ECC Manager of Cybersecurity Architecture. Job Summary:The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is primarily focused on the secure design and implementation of ECC services and solutions. This individual will partner with GSS counterparts within RTX business units and Digital Technology teams to design, document and integrate new capabilities which meet customer mission objectives. The ECC is constantly adapting to the changing cybersecurity landscape and maturing existing practices to ensure compliance with government-mandated security controls which ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services. This position is responsible for defining and documenting acceptable security technical baselines which meet compliance and business requirements.We value diverse skills and experience, so don’t hold back. Develops security baselines for enterprise solutions and services customers
Documents cybersecurity architectural artifacts which support technologies through an established and mature change control workflow
Collaborates with interdependent teams to design and develop secure compliant technical solutions for deployment
Supports enterprise and business initiatives to drive technological evolution of ECC provided services to customers
Supports the organization’s vision, strategy and goals
IMPORTANT NOTE: Within six months of hire date, you must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with a DoD 8570.01-M IAM level III certified credentials (CISSP, CISM, GSLC or CCISO), if you do not already have this certification.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems Management, Management Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Business, Math or other degrees will be considered plus 5 years’ experience in cyber or systems security, network architecture/technology, and/or other information technology experience.
An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience
An Associate’s Degree with 7 years of relevant experience described
In lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience as described above
Five years of directly related Cyber/Systems Security or Network Architecture / Technology experience
Experience understanding and implementing compliance regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JAFAN, ICD, FAA, HIPAA, and/or other government regulations/requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements, standards, and frameworks
Ability to tailor technical discussion to various audiences, create security whitepapers and concepts of operation
Experience with Agile/Safe methodologies, ITIL4, etc. and the tools that support them.
Experience with cybersecurity principles in cloud hosted environments
Experience with virtualization technologies to include to include VMWare Cloud Foundation and VxRail
Background in cybersecurity tools, device detection, vulnerability scanning, patch management
