Data Integration Engineer Our Boston-based client is seeking a remote Data Integration Engineer for a 6-month contract. This Software Engineer will be primarily focused on building UI using ReactJS or Angular. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the financial services industry as well as knowledge of asset management with a thorough understanding of financial data. This role will work on mission-critical projects to identify, analyze, and map business requirements into technical specifications and implement solutions and processes that satisfy the growing business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Capture the lineage of data from start to end with bi-temporality
  • Develop reusable modules for others in the data engineering ecosystem
  • Communicate within a team consisting of developers, systems analysts, and business analysts
  • Lead the development of data adapters
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to improve and automate testing practices
  • Interact with business subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand data concepts in both technical and business terms
  • Create and manage SDK artifacts for multiple languages

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a business or systems analyst
  • Strong hands-on experience with Markit EDM or similar ETL technologies like Informatica or Talend
  • Experience in testing and implementation of an EDM platform or similar MDM solutions
  • Experience with various languages: Python, Java, Golang, Kotlin, etc.
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with Git and modern best practices for releases
