Datalake Developer

· The datalake and database developer will be a key member of an Agile team to provide technology solutions to support State Streets security finance project initiatives for the datalake shared services projects· Liaison with Business and Systems analysts to translate high level business and functional requirements into actionable technical deliverables· Participate in architectural level reviews to ensure that the efficiency and resiliency of the product is maintained.· Key contributor to ongoing code reviews with mentorship to junior developers on the team· Support production releases (both before and post code implementation).· Collaborate with other cross-functional teams· Conduct technical meetings to share ideas and findings.· Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks· Work closely with business stakeholders, the Agile team and managerial staff· Follow and promote SDLC standard practice with risk excellence mindset· Effectively manage competing priorities· Fast learner who can come up to speed very quickly and can thrive with minimal guidance and supervision (someone who is highly proactive, seeks knowledge and has passion for business consulting and technology)· Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to provide candid feedback and explain complex issues in a way that is easy to understand· A focus on continuous improvement and willing to collaborate across functions, with different subject matter experts· Proven track record of meeting deadlines and remaining focused on details in an environment where priorities can frequently shift
