Computershare have an amazing opportunity to join one of our Global Technology teams as an Engineering Practice Lead. Mentor and guide a team of 10 to development greatness!

Computershare Technology Services (CTS) provides global technology and infrastructure services for existing Computershare proprietary software together with a full range of development services for new products.

This Global Technology team support a large business line, Issuer Services, with over 3700 employees.

A role you will love

Be a guiding force and lead this team into a mature development group. Help guide technology decisions across all aspects of Issuer Services Channel Engineering roadmap!

Oversee web application development and delivery at a global scale, upskilling engineering teams and influencing technology decisions for our product suite.You'll work in close partnership with our Product and Engineering management groupsto create measurable value for the customer in areas including UX, quality & reliability, delivery, performance or scalability.You'll provide a local focal point for Channel-based technical initiatives, as you are recognised as an expert in this field.

By staying hands-on with development, and maintaining a close rapport with your reports, you will be vigilant in identifying challenges for team members to grow, and provide a sounding board for technical queries from our Agile squads.

Provide your expertise, influence, advise and mentor team members across the Engineering group.

What will you bring to the role?

You will have outstanding programming skills with the ability to lead a team to greatness! Inspire others with your energy for your work!

The following technical experience is mandatory:
  • Proven track record of leading, challenging, mentoring and developing professional skills of team members.
  • Advanced skills in the .NET languages (C#, .Net Core), Angular or React, tools, architecture and design standards.
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as KnockoutJS, ReactJS etc.
  • Proven ability to influence and motivate geographically dispersed teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders
  • Strong analysis & communication skills
  • Experience integrating products to interface with multiple applications
  • Demonstrable ability to implement tools/techniques to ensure team members are contributing as highly functioning team members.

Compensation. $130 - $150,000+
