Job Requirements:

We are strongly in favour of using the cloud-provided tools and services to ‘shift-right’ in our maturity. This means we mainly use PaaS, CaaS, and FaaS services rather than hosting and maintaining a full fat VMs. The shift-right strategy also means we only deploy systems with IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders and developers to design, build, and run a secure and compliant cloud platform.
Write IaC scripts and CI/CD pipelines to deploy cloud-native applications that meet best practices and Barings quality standards
Design applications architectures to meet business needs in a cloud-native manner.
Requirements
Should be comfortable using:
Azure (Web app, Azure SQL, Databricks, AKS, Functions)
Git and Gitflow
CI/CD Azure DevOps (or other CI/CD: Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo)
Terraform
