Director, Supply Chain Systems

You’re what binds us together.Join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to our customers.What you’ll be doing:The Director, Supply Chain systems is responsible for driving the development of critical capabilities within our Supply Chain systems including Fulfillment, Inventory and Delivery.This role will collaborate with key business partners to understand critical business and operational challenges and then work closely with our technology teams to solve them. You will manage the implementation of major revenue-generating and transformational initiatives from development to execution which will support future growth and overall effectiveness of the organization.What you bring to the table:Technical Curiosity – innovation and transformation are key in this role so if you have the ability to think outside of the box and challenge traditional methods, this could be the role for you.

Qualifications :What’s needed- Basic QualificationsAt least 12+ years’ experience that includes Supply Chain, and Ecommerce/Retail fulfillment operations

Strong understanding of Supply chain operations including Inventory planning, Warehouse Management, and Transportation management

Experience with development or management of E-commerce systems including Order Management, Replenishment, Fulfillment, and Delivery

Project Management experience and ability to balance/prioritize workload

What’s needed- Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree or higher discipline with a strong focus on information systems and analytics

Experience developing business and functional specifications for Supply Chain systems

Experience with data analysis and visualization using SQL, R, Teradata, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Qlikview or similar

Experience with supply chain modeling using tools such as with R, Matlab, Python, C, Java or similar
