Solidus is searching for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a team that specializes in advanced network and communications systems development, with a focus on tactical mobile, military airborne networks of the future. The team develops IP networking protocols, MAC and PHY layer tactical systems for advanced development and prototype testing.

Required Skills: - ship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Active Secret Preferred. - BS degree in relevant area - 5G technology and architecture experience. Focus is on the development of a network test infrastructure for 5G cellular base stations and user equipment (UE), WIFI and other wireless systems. - Recent, in-depth experience with networking protocols and network stack development - Very strong revision/version control experience with GIT. Strong experience with command line.

- 5 years of experience with the following: Networking Applications and Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, SSH, FTP and HTTP/S Networking experience (routers/switches/firewalls/servers) Development experience on a Linux platform Network programming Object Oriented Software Design and Development Software Design/Development

- 3 years of experience with the following: Embedded Software GIT/GITHUB Software development of networking protocols Experience with Linux/Embedded Linux networking Hands-on laboratory experience with cellular wireless test equipment (eNodeB/gNodeB/UE) channel emulator

- 1 years of experience with the following: Experience with 5G technology and architecture Experience with gNodeB

Preferred Skills: - Experience with Amarisoft eNodeB/GnodeB - Experience telit 980 UE - 3 years of experience with the following: Firmware Real-Time Embedded Systems (ROS, VxWorks, Xenomai, Linux) Real-Time Software/Hardware C/C Programming MATLAB
