We are a global company offering products and technical support worldwide through a broad network of local representatives and distributors.About the positionThe Engineering Project Manager will lead engineering projects within the global Kidde-Fenwal organization. They will manage cross functional teams in executing new product development tasks and support business processes as needed.This role provides an opportunity to play an integral part in executing global projects within schedule and budget and drive new mission critical and life safety solutions to the market in a world class organization.Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects in a global organization in support of product development and sustaining activities

Coordinate project activities across functional teams including Design Engineering, Quality, Product Management, Process Engineering, Supply Chain and more.

Manage deliverables and schedules and drive projects through stage gate development process.

Manage projects following stage-gate processes and where applicable provide direction and assistance to Project Engineers

Responsible for the development of the scope, budget, and the project plan

Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate Degree.

5+ years engineering project management experience.

Traveling is required up to 10 % (nationally and internationally)

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Project / Program management certifications (PMP, etc.).

Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting

High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and PowerPoint.
