Position Purpose:This Veolia North America position provides onsite environmental services at client facilities in the Cambridge/

Boston area. They ensure that the client is compliant with environmental, health, and safety regulations during all

phases of storage, transportation, and disposal services. Responsibilities include manifesting, packaging, spill

response, labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating transportation, and sampling/profiling material while adhering

to state and federal regulations.Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations as well as Veolia North America Health and Safety practices.Collection and transport of waste materials from the many areas on a customer site to appropriate storage location for identification and packaging.Performing inspections, to include satellite accumulation areas (SAA), main or central accumulation areas (MAA/CAA), safety equipment, spill response equipment, and vehicles.Preparation of chemical and biological waste for shipment and disposal, including creation of all federal/state waste documents and managing the paperwork for the material.Safe handling of hazardous waste containers on client sites, as well as loading/unloading of waste from vehicles.Occasionally perform and document Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) audits for clients.Deliver exceptional customer service providing outstanding support and innovative solutions to our clients.Develop a high-level of state and federal regulatory expertise ensuring our client’s compliance needs are met (e.g RCRA, DOT, and OSHA).Conduct spill response measures, including the assessment of the spills and cleanup efforts.Become familiar with all U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT)/Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paper work to expedite disposal of hazardous waste.
