Job Title: Facilities Supervisor

Compensation: Starting at $23-$30/hr, pay commensurate with experience

Reports to: Facilities Manager

Job Description:

The Facilities Supervisor at Eastern Yacht Club is entrusted with the meticulous maintenance of our beautiful facilities, grounds, and equipment. This pivotal role encompasses preventive maintenance, urgent repair needs, and counsel to management regarding facility issues.

Responsibilities:

● Implement and oversee the Preventative Maintenance program, diligently documenting all maintenance and service activities, and ensuring a consistent cycle of upkeep.

● Safeguard the functionality and safety of all facility equipment, furnishings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and grounds.

● Manage inventory and maintenance-related supplies, including tools, paint supplies, light bulbs, etc.

● Promptly respond to repair requests as directed by the Facilities Manager

● Expertly troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment issues, coordinating servicing and repairs as necessary.

● Contribute insights and participate in Department Head meetings to address facility-related matters.

● Supervise waste removal, snow removal, landscaping, and other maintenance tasks to uphold the pristine condition of the premises.

● Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct, promptly reporting any violations.

● Uphold a clean and well-maintained environment throughout the grounds.

● Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless functioning of all systems within the facility.

● Delegate tasks to subordinates, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

● Exhibit a neat appearance, good personal hygiene, dependability, and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.

● Demonstrate proactive initiative and familiarity with and adherence to personnel policies.

Requirements:

● High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school experience is advantageous.

● Minimum of 3 years of maintenance-related experience, demonstrating proficiency in general maintenance and equipment functions.

● Previous experience with pool equipment is desirable.

● Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, equipment, and electrical issues effectively.

● Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word, are essential.

● Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

● Proactive nature with a keen sense of initiative.
