With revenues of $40 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world.How You Will Make An Impact:An exciting opportunity exists for a Financial Analyst to play a key role in supporting the FP&A efforts of the $480M Production Process & Analytics business unit within the Chemical Analysis Division. As part of the finance team, you will be focused on both FP&A activities and the creation & implementation of FP&A processes to better manage the drivers of P&L and overall performance. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager, FP&A, and partners with the BU team.What You Will Do:

Support Finance Director, PPA, and BU Leadership to improve business performance and operational awareness by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and recommending quantifiable actions to leadership

Develop, standardize, and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights, and support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting and budgeting process (i.e., support MBR, QBR, AOP, STRAP)

Collaborate with BU and Division Partners to provide financial information & analysis to support preparation of performance dashboards, scorecards, etc.

Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting activities along with driving adoption of Project Nucleus tools and PLN

Support translation of business inputs into financial assumptions, build and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, results, and covering areas including revenue, new product launch, pricing, operating expense, CAPEX

Analyze transactional / operational data, identify anomalies, recommend accruals / reversals to ensure accurate reporting

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

3+ years experience in Finance

Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Proven understanding of Excel (i.e., financial models and analysis)

Proficient user of systems (Power BI, Hyperion Planning, etc.)

Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to summarize and present information concisely

Proven business partner

Self-motivated, high level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done
