Frenova Business Intern

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:As an intern with Frenova /Fresenius Medical Care, a student will apply classroom based knowledge to workplace experience and will benefit from learning experiences in their major area of study.Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:During the 6-8 weeks internship the intern will rotate through the following Frenova departments: Project Management, Contract Administration, Finance and possibly IT. The time in each department will depend on the project-based assignments but it is anticipated that the intern will rotate every 2-3 weeks with a potential overlap of some assignments.Assignments:Project Management: Provider Database Maintenance: (1) Assisting with developing strategic plan for outreach to sites to obtain consent in accordance with GDPR requirements, with prioritization for sites currently engaged in existing studies, and (2) assistance with organizing, tracking, and filing consents as they are returned to us.Contract Administration:Frenova Contracts Playbook Kick off: addressing 5 core clauses and alternative negotiation positions for integration into CPAi system.Finance:Invoices aging and log analysis to facilitate F1rst Up site invoicing processes.IT:TBDCUSTOMER SERVICE:

Responsible for driving the Frenova's culture through values and customer service standards.

Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.

Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.

Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
