Dynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered.

Location- Boston - Ideally local, someone who can drive to our FC site.

Must Have: •Java (Spring, Core Java, API) •Some Java Script ( 20%) •Cloud (AWS Ideal, flex for any other cloud experience) Ok if they get deployment experience and some knowledge in cloud. •This is a lead principal level developer role. Need someone who can mentor juniors incase required. Clear communication skills are required. The senior developer will be leading and developing.

The Role We're looking for product-aware engineers who are passionate, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help us on our mission to deliver the best omni-channel experience to our customers.
  • You will help us build the omni channel user experiences and the underlying platforms needed to support our digital presence.
  • You'll work on building entire features, taking these from concept to deployment, as part of our autonomous, cross functional teams.
  • You'll have the opportunity to supply ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Node JS, and/or Java/JEE based web applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.
  • Design and Development of front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & browser Developer tools, and experience in modern SPA frameworks like Angular, React and Vue.
  • Designing and implementing continuous JS environments using Webpack, mono-repo architecture, Grunt, Gulp, and effectively employ DevOps, Automated Testing (using Cypress, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor) and Continuous Integration and Delivery using technology such as Groovy, Jenkins.
  • Experience with containerization, Docker, and orchestration and exposure to AWS.
  • Knowledge of asynchrony (Promises, Observers, Event loops, Web workers), HTTP based interactions, REST, Networking and how the internet works.
  • Your hands on experience working with package management using Node.js, NPM, Express
  • Proven expertise and mentality of employing Automation for Development, Testing (unit and integration) & Deployment.
  • Appetite for learning new skills, chipping in to process-improvement initiatives in an effort to maximize velocity for the product team and is curious about constant learning.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent) with 5-8 years of proven experience.
