Fund Accountant Intermediate (3-6 years)

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Fund Accountant Intermediate in Boston, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team involved in the financial industry, specifically focusing on fund accounting. The role entails dealing with daily transactions, including valuation of portfolio holdings, and providing the necessary client reports. Responsibilities: Carry out accounting functions related to daily transactions Accurately assess the value of portfolio holdings Generate and present necessary reports for each client Effectively communicate with fund management as required Participate in the migration of clients onto new fund service platforms Execute photocopying and scanning of relevant documents Monitor and manage fund management activities. Requirements Possess 3 to 6 years of experience as a Fund Accountant or in a similar role Proficient in performing all Accounting Functions related to fund management Demonstrated skills in Reporting, specifically in the context of fund accounting Experience in Migration of fund data across systems or platforms Solid understanding of Valuations in relation to fund assets Capable of managing Daily Transactions, including recording and tracking Familiarity with Fund Management best practices and principles Ability to handle administrative tasks, such as Photocopying and Scanning documents Adept at using fund accounting software and other relevant digital tools Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
