Hardware Design Engineer/ onsite Location Murray Hill NJRequired skills:The Hardware Design Engineer This consist of:Track all dates and deliverables.
  • Conducts design reviews.
  • Commercial components (devices, processors, sub-assemblies, modules, etc.)
  • Custom components (e.g., FPGA/ASIC)
  • Creates design documents for ODM vendor.
  • Enforces all design processes and checklists to ensure overall compliance by the ODM
  • Reviews and test plans and test results
  • Primary interface for all issues with the ODM vendor
  • Working with Optical Team.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Experienced in the design of IP-based data network systems.
  • Experienced in hardware design of embedded processors, DSPs, and high-speed interfaces (SONET OC3 and OC12, OC48, Gigabit Ethernet), and optical transport protocols.
  • Experienced in data protocol designs (ESCON, FICON, GbE, Fibre Channel, GFP-T).
