Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) - Specialist

Immediate need for a talented

• Perform laboratory analysis of samples, using aseptic technique, following established.
• Procedures and in full compliance with official compendial, health authority regulations (eg. USP 788 microscopy method, Bioburden, BET, environmental monitoring, water testing, compressed gas testing).
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, while ensuring the reliability of instrumentation through proper maintenance, with ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed and documents results, according to good documentation practices and established procedures.
• Must analyze, evaluate, and interpret data, notifying clients of results, and assisting to resolve issues, if applicable.
• Must be comfortable working in a controlled environment.

• Associates degree in Biological Sciences or related field, plus three (3) or more years of QC microbiology laboratory experience with minimum of one (1) year performing viable and non-viable sampling in an ISO classified cleanroom. Travel to other local sites is required.
• Must have knowledge of aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, and microbiological Quality Control testing and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of ISO 14644
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Has high level of technical understanding of methods, equipment, and procedures in work area.
• Has ability to complete sampling or testing assignments in a timely and compliant manner, with minimal supervision as well as being able to learn and execute other tasks as needed.
• Experience testing water for endotoxin, bioburden and TOC.
