Help Wanted: Flyering + Local Publicity Support for Community Events

We’re looking for a community-minded, marketing-savvy person to help with flyering and grassroots publicity for local arts and wellness-based events. This is a part-time, flexible gig with room to grow if it’s a good fit.

Tasks include:

-Hanging up flyers in cafes, co-ops, studios, libraries, and other strategic local spots

-Keeping track of where flyers are posted and checking in on them periodically

-Helping brainstorm other local publicity ideas (e.g. tabling at events, collaborating with business owners, etc.)

-Supporting with press outreach or online listings if you have those skills

Ideal candidate:

Knows and loves the local area (especially Florence, Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield, etc.)

Has a strong sense of where community gathers and how to get the word out

Has an eye for aesthetics, branding, and good marketing practices

Enjoys working independently and reliably

Has a car or bike and can travel locally to post flyers

Is excited about community events, somatic healing, dance, ritual, or related themes (not required but a plus!)

Starting pay is $20/hr

Hours will vary depending on the timing and scale of upcoming events. Some weeks may be light, while others will have more opportunity.
