This is a hybrid-based position.Responsibilities:The Human Resources Specialist has a comprehensive understanding of all Human Resources-related processes and serves as an advisor to the Human Resource Business Partner Leadership team on a variety of Human Resource functions including policy and procedure administration, severance administration, and other key support activities. The Human Resource Specialist advises in conjunction with the Human Resource Business Partners on employment related issues, and serves as a point of contact resolving day-to-day matters and triaging employee relations issues to the leadership team as needed. The Human Resource Specialist provides information to managers, provides HR policy guidance and interpretation, and is a key point of contact for employment related inquiries. Additionally, this role will handle confidential electronic employee files as well as processing invoices and preparing travel expenses for the team, supporting the team’s calendars and scheduling routine meetings, and respond to routine correspondence following established procedures, ordering supplies, and performs specific duties or projects as assigned.This role serves as a point of contact relating to clarification of routine policy and practices issues. Look out for company policy changes and brings to management attention frequent areas of concern. Demonstrates a basic understanding of employment law and uses the knowledge to support the company position.Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred!

Requires 3-5 years’ experience of administrative support in HR or a corporate office environment.

Skills:

Computer proficiency with MS office, intermediate Excel and PowerPoint.

Must have strong customer focus, problem solving, excellent organizational and social skills to include strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management.

Must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and lead challenging priorities.

Must recognize and maintain the confidentiality of information and work material.

Working knowledge of Workday and other HR related systems.

The hiring range for this position is $28.46 to $40.86 USD per hour. The final offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
