- The client is looking to migrate its servers and applications, currently within the Client’s network, to a new Azure tenancy with a limited number of co-hosted premises servers.
- The client will be migrating to Office 365 and migrating email and files to Exchange Online and One Drive/Teams.
- The client is looking to engage a contract staffer to work with our IT organization to lead activities with a 3rd party implementation team to secure Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams and Azure tenancy.
- Support the architecture of OSA's new network from an initial setup to operating conditions
- Work with 3rd party vendor to establish migration plan to new security process
- Interface with IT and novice security analyst to evaluate, prioritize and implement key security compliance and policy initiatives.
- Help train new cyber security engineer when hired
- Monitor computer networks and systems for threats and security breaches
- Develop systems and processes for security best practices throughout the organization
- Respond to, escalate and report on security incidents
- Research the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with the subject and apply the latest technology to protect information assets
- Perform penetration testing
- Research technical details for the migration working with Client
- Secure a test environment for Office 365 with new Azure tenancy and Government OneDrive
- Create key documentation to secure the new Microsoft O365 environment, with outlook, exchange, file sharing and tenancy
- Collaborate with IT Compliance Analyst to develop and enhance Policies and Procedures
- Experience in architecting new cyber security environments and supporting transition for technical and business staff
- Experience performing security reviews and risk assessments
- Knowledge with Office 365 Security and Compliance Centre configuration
- Understanding of NIST 800-53 and SANS security frameworks
- Knowledge in securing on premise and cloud networks
- Able to document security procedures including incident response and DR plans
- Knowledge with configuring firewalls, routers and switches
- Knowledge with email security, anti-phishing, anti-ransomware and URL filtering technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft O365 platform
- Knowledge of Azure Cyber Security, Authentication and Identity Access Management
- Experience configuring and managing IPS/IDS and SIEM technologies
- Experience configuring and managing Continuous Vulnerability Management systems
- Experience with configuring Cisco and FortiGate firewalls
- Knowledge of VNets, VPN, firewall, routing, and circuits preferred
- MS Windows workstation and server administration experience preferred
