Infrastructure Implementation Engineer

Our client, located in the northeastern US, is currently in need of Infrastructure Implementation Engineer for a 12 month contract. The consultant will be responsible for deploying infrastructure to customers including the physical installation of hardware and the logical configuration of operating systems and software products either as the sole person and/or as part of a team. This includes Dell PowerEdge servers, Operating Systems (Windows, VMware, etc.), Dell networking switches and storage systems (PowerStore, Unity, PowerScale, PowerMax, etc.). This is a 75% travel position to the below locations from your home office, in either MA, CT, RI, or Albany, NY area. Required Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong Customer service skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experienced installing and configuring network switches
• Understanding of Dell OS10 switches
• Experienced installing and configuring Microsoft & Linux operating systems
• Experienced deploying VMware solutions.
• Experienced with SAN and NAS storage including Fibre Channel switches
• Ability to perform physical installation and cabling of rack mounted servers and switches
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• A valid US passport is required and the consultant must be located in one of the desired locations.
